Riding Tuition: Our Riding Instructors
All the Asti Equestrian instructors enjoy teaching riders of all ages and abilities either on their own horses/ponies or the yard horses/ponies. Below is a summary of our current Instructors.
Colleen Stacey
BHSAI and Stage 2 British Driving Society. Has taught all ages and abilities including Pony Club and Riding Club. Teaches riding, driving and side saddle. Currently competes at local events on own horse.
Helen Merrills
BHS Stage III. Has taught all ages and abilities including Pony Club and Riding Club. Currently competes her own horse Max working towards affiliated BSJA.
Jeanine Allan Robertson
PTT, Stage III. Happy teaching any age group.
Jeanine has sucessfully competed ponies at Scope and Blue Chip Finals and
now rides and competes locally with her own horse.
Maureen Jones
Has many years experience teaching competition riders specialising in Show Jumping to National level. Has produced Show Jumping ponies and horses, Eventers, Working Hunters, Working Hunter Ponies and Mountain and Moorland Show Ponies. Has competed Show Jumping up to Fox Hunter level, Eventing and Dressage but not for a long time! Currently trains Pony Club and Riding Club riders at all levels in all disciplines. Specialises in private lessons and particularly enjoys teaching riders on their own horses or ponies.
Sarah Smythe
BHS Stage III. Trained by International Dressage Trainer and has ridden for International Show Jumper. Has competed to Medium Dressage level and loves to teach and train horses for dressage. Enjoys teaching all ages and abilities.
Toni Reardon
BHS AI. Has worked and trained in Event Yard, has competed in One Day Events. Has taught all ages and abilities including Pony Club and Riding Club. Currently enjoys driving with her own pony and is bringing on her own youngster. Enjoys teaching all ages and abilities.
